How close is Amazon to you?

Filter buildings
Screens individual CoStar buildings (each OSHA site has at most one matched building). Any screen switches the map to one dot per building; tier, state, market and search filters above still apply. Pipeline buildings are never screened.

How to read this map
Each dot is an Amazon facility record placed from public filings: OSHA injury summaries (Form 300A), EPA's facility registry and Amazon's own June 2025 facility list. Filled dots are operating sites (they filed for CY2025). By default they are sized by the square footage of their existing buildings in CoStar. Switch "Size by" to use 2025 OSHA hours instead. Sites with no matched CoStar building are drawn small and light ("Size not in CoStar"). Dark dots are Amazon-occupied buildings in CoStar with no OSHA filing match; teal rings are buildings under construction, proposed or in final planning. Hollow rings are records that stopped filing, are EPA-only or appear only on Amazon's list.
Color is the network tier. Where Amazon's June 2025 list gives a network type the tier uses it; otherwise it comes from the site-code prefix (for example D for delivery station), which is a hint, not a filed designation.
Density, 3D (hexagons about 40 km across) and Growth all follow the "Size by" setting. Square feet weights by building SF from CoStar and growth adds buildings by year built. 2025 hours weights by OSHA hours, and growth replays operating sites by the year they first filed with OSHA.
Diamonds are the 47 closures, move-outs and sublease listings in existing space announced 2022 to Sept. 30, 2026, each with public sources (cancelled projects and delays are not mapped). They are on in the network view and off by default in the Owners and Sales views. Listings without a building match sit at the city center. MWPVL-derived rows are single-source; Amazon disputed MWPVL's figures.
The View buttons switch between the network and two building-level views that draw one dot per CoStar building: Sales colors buildings with a single-asset sale recorded on or after the year built by sale price per building SF, and Owners colors every building by owner type (Moraine classification of CoStar’s true owner). The building filters and the metro comparison work the same way, one building or one metro at a time.
Building fields come from CoStar and are matched to facility records by Moraine: size, stories, land, clear height, docks, year built, class, status, sublease space listed, owner and the last recorded sale. Dots sit on the building footprint (Overture Maps Foundation, including OpenStreetMap contributors) where one matches, otherwise at the geocoded street address or, where flagged, the ZIP centroid. No street addresses and no personal contact data are published. Source: CoStar.
